What kind of video do I need?+
A side-view clip, 10–20 seconds, filmed roughly at hip height. Any modern phone camera works. For running: treadmill or a straight outdoor section. For cycling: an indoor trainer is ideal, outdoor works too. The clearer the side view, the better the measurement.
How accurate is the analysis?+
Flapp uses pose estimation that tracks 33 body landmarks per frame — the same class of technology used in sports-science research. It's not a lab motion-capture rig, and we don't pretend it is: each report includes a confidence read-out, and low-quality footage is flagged rather than silently scored.
Do I need any sensors or special equipment?+
No. Your phone is the sensor. No wearables, no markers, no app to install — Flapp runs in the browser.
Can it replace a professional bike fit or running coach?+
No — and it doesn't try to. Think of Flapp as the check between the fits and the coach's second pair of eyes: it puts numbers on what changed after a saddle swap, a training block or an injury, and tells you when something drifted out of range.
